Super High Shank System:

Kenmore super high shank presser feet are a specific, rare type used on certain vintage Kenmore 158 series machines. They feature a greater distance between the presser foot attachment point and the needle plate compared to standard low or high shank machines, measuring approximately 1.25 inches (1¼") or more.

Important Compatibility Notes:

• Center needle position only - This foot is designed for center-homing machines
• Standard low or high shank feet are NOT compatible with super high shank machines
• Using inappropriate feet can cause the needle to hit the foot
• The needle opening slot must align correctly with center needle position
