Quality replacement all-purpose zig zag foot designed for Bernina NEW STYLE machines with 9mm maximum stitch width. This is the standard, go-to foot for everyday general sewing tasks with forward and reverse stitching capability.
IMPORTANT: New Style vs. Old Style
This is a NEW STYLE foot. Bernina uses a proprietary presser foot system, and New Style and Old Style feet are NOT interchangeable. To identify your foot style:
- New Style (Genuine Bernina): White sticker with RED numbers/letters, squared shank with notch on back
- New Style (Aftermarket): No red sticker, but squared shank with notch on back, designated with "C" or "N" suffix (like #1N)
- Old Style: White sticker with BLACK numbers/letters, rounded shank back with no cut-out
This foot fits machines with maximum stitch width of 9mm (Activa, Artista, Aurora, B-series, Virtuosa). It will NOT fit Old Style 5.5mm machines without an adapter.
