How It Works:

The #1932S buttonhole foot features a clever mechanical design that automatically determines the correct buttonhole length. Simply insert your actual button into the sliding holder at the back of the foot—this sets the required length. When you begin sewing in buttonhole mode, the foot's internal mechanism interacts with the machine's lever to automatically stitch the entire buttonhole from start to finish. The machine knows exactly when to stop stitching each side, create the bar tack (reinforcing stitches at the end), and reverse direction. Once set, every subsequent buttonhole will be perfectly identical in length and width.

Tips for Best Results:

• Stabilize Fabric: Use interfacing or tear-away stabilizer underneath fabric to prevent fraying and ensure neat stitches, especially on delicate or stretchy fabrics
