How It Works:

The concealed zipper foot's unique design features two deep grooves on the underside that guide the zipper coils away from the stitching line. As you sew, place the zipper teeth into one of the grooves—the foot gently unrolls the coil, keeping it flat and in place. This allows the needle to stitch very close to the center of the coils without accidentally sewing onto them. When the zipper is closed, the coils roll back to the wrong side of the fabric and the stitching is hidden within the seam, making the zipper disappear.

Using the Foot:

1. Prepare the Fabric: Finish seam edges and mark where the zipper should end
2. Position the Zipper: Lay the open zipper on the fabric's right side, aligning coils with your stitching line
3. Sew Each Side: Place zipper coils into the corresponding groove and stitch from top to bottom. Repeat for the other side
4. Finish the Seam: Switch to a standard zipper foot to complete the remaining seam below the zipper
