Quality replacement free-motion darning foot designed for Bernina OLD STYLE machines with 5.5mm maximum stitch width. This specialized spring-loaded foot is ideal for darning, free-motion embroidery, and quilting with excellent visibility and control.
IMPORTANT: Old Style vs. New Style
This is an OLD STYLE foot. Bernina uses a proprietary presser foot system, and Old Style and New Style feet are NOT interchangeable. To identify your foot style:
- Old Style: White sticker with BLACK numbers/letters, rounded shank back with no cut-out
- New Style: White sticker with RED numbers/letters, squared shank with notch on back
This foot fits machines with maximum stitch width of 5.5mm (530-1630 series). It will NOT fit New Style 9mm machines without an adapter.
