Important: Requires Snap-On Shank Adapter

This is a snap-on foot and requires the Snap-On Shank Adapter (Part #542167) to be installed on your machine. The snap-on shank is sold separately. Once you have the snap-on shank installed, this foot simply snaps on and off for quick, tool-free changes.

Using the Foot:

1. Install Snap-On Shank: Make sure snap-on shank adapter is installed on your machine (sold separately)
2. Snap On Foot: Position buttonhole foot under shank and press up until it clicks into place
3. Select Stitch: Choose buttonhole stitch on your machine
4. Mark Buttonhole: Mark buttonhole position and length on fabric
5. Position Fabric: Place fabric under clear foot, using markings to gauge buttonhole length
6. Sew Buttonhole: Machine creates buttonhole automatically. Clear foot provides excellent visibility
7. Remove Foot: Press release lever on shank and foot drops off
