How the Zipper Foot Works:

The snap-on zipper foot features a narrow plastic design that allows the needle to stitch very close to zipper teeth without hitting them. The narrow width means you can position the foot on either the left or right side of the zipper teeth, allowing you to stitch both sides of the zipper without changing feet. The plastic construction provides excellent visibility so you can see exactly where you're stitching along the zipper. Simply snap the foot onto your snap-on shank adapter, position it on the desired side of the zipper, and sew close to the teeth for professional results.

Important: Requires Snap-On Shank Adapter

This is a snap-on foot and requires the Snap-On Shank Adapter (Part #542167) to be installed on your machine. The snap-on shank is sold separately. Once you have the snap-on shank installed, this foot simply snaps on and off for quick, tool-free changes.

Using the Foot:

1. Install Snap-On Shank: Make sure snap-on shank adapter is installed on your machine (sold separately)
2. Snap On Foot: Position zipper foot under shank and press up until it clicks into place
3. Position Zipper: Place zipper under foot with teeth on desired side (left or right)
4. Sew: Stitch close to zipper teeth. Narrow foot allows close stitching without hitting teeth
5. Switch Sides: Reposition foot to opposite side of zipper teeth to complete installation
6. Remove Foot: Press release lever on shank and foot drops off
